Tai is a Wanaka-based musician who has been playing live music for over 15 years. Playing a mellow vibe while everyone warms up into the day, we are looking forward to Tai welcoming you all to the Festival!

NICK AND DAN
Hailing from Christchurch, Nick and Dan are a dynamic duo who are sure to have everyone on the dance floor on the lawn before lunchtime. Playing covers of the well-loved tunes they love entertaining a crowd!

BLACK-SALE HOUSE
Joining us from Dunedin, the Black-Sale House lads are an ultimate summer jam band perfect for enjoying while parked up lakeside. The band are mentored by Six60 and currently recording their debut album.

BRAD STALEY
The South Canterbury lad with many Salmon & Wine fans! Brad and his band will be back to conclude the day's entertainment bringing only the bangers and a guaranteed good time!
CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINMENT
Well loved children's entertainer Rainbow Rosalind will be joining us and performing shows throughout the day at this years Festival!

We have a revised our kids zone to include a family seating area overlooking the lake to include food vendors, face painting, ballon artists and bouncy castles!
* Face painting will be a gold coin donation.
SALMON & WINE HUB
In 2024 we are introducing a SALMON & WINE HUB to the festival entertainment offering.
Located in the heart of our salmon and wine stallholders in the Meridian Energy marquee, the line up includes three salmon demonstrations and two wine tastings throughout the day.

Food & Beverage Manager Gary Clarke will be creating a butterflied salmon & squid ink pasta dish.

Award-winning dish from the Hawaii Kuauli Pacific & Asia Cultural Festival
Brett and Will re-create their award-winning dish from the Hawaii Kuauli Pacific & Asia Cultural Festival featuring kawakawa cured Mt Cook Alpine Salmon and Mt Cook Alpine Salmon Ikura First of Season Caviar.

The Forrest Wine Journey
2023 Forrest Sauvignon Blanc , 2023 Drs Sauvignon, 2018 Tattybogler Waitaki Chardonnay, & 2020 Tattybogler Waitaki Pinot Noir.
Dr John Forrest is joining us to tell the story of Forrest Wines including their Waitaki Valley Tattybogler label. He is a hugely knowledgeable and respected wine maker and businessman and we are thrilled to have joining is at the festival.

Bocuse d’Or Team NZ Mt Cook Alpine Salmon Dinner Party Verrines
Join Bocuse d’Or Team NZ as they cure Mt Cook Alpine Salmon three ways and demonstrate how easy it is to jazz up your next dinner party with their salmon verrines – beautiful dishes served in a glass - think prawn cocktail but with a Bocuse d’Or NZ and Mt Cook Alpine Salmon twist!

Summer Picks with our Trio of Winemakers
Dunstan Road Wines, Awatere River, Wooing Tree
We have three fabulous wine makers joining us on the panel who have each selected their best selling wine to share with you. Each will share the story and winemaking process behind the their wine and answer any questions you may have.
Please note, seating will be limited to 80 attendees each session and only those over 18 with a wristband will be provided with a wine tasting.
