GETTING THERE
TRAVEL BY CAR
The festival site is located at the Meridian Rowing Centre at Lake Ruataniwha, Twizel.
This is just minutes from Twizel Town Centre by car. We will have parking on site for those choosing to bring their vehicle. If you do drive, please allocate a designated sober driver or find another way to get home.
Alternatively, you can park in Twizel Town Centre and take the free buses from Market Place to the festival.
FESTIVAL BUSES - OAMARU / FAIRLIE
In 2027 we have buses running from Oamaru and Fairlie and seats can be booked when you purchase your festival tickets through FLICKET.
Location departure times, pricing to be confirmed when tickets go on sale.
Fairlie - Bus Stop on Talbot Road (outside the BP)at 9.30am
Tekapo - Bus Stop on Motuariki Lane (outside Dark Sky Project)at 10.05am
Oamaru - Bus Stop on Eden Street at 8.45am
Kurow - Bus Stop on Ranfurly Street at 9.45am
Otematata - Bus Stop in front of the Community/Shopping Centre at 10.05am
Omarama - Bus Stop in the Public Car Park on Sutherland Road at 10.30am ($40+BF)
Buses will depart the Festival at 5.15pm
SHUTTLE BUS FROM MARKET PLACE
AS PART OF YOUR FESTIVAL TICKET YOU CAN CATCH A BUS FROM MARKET PLACE TO THE FESTIVAL
For those coming from Twizel Town Centre, we have a shuttle bus operating from Market Place. This will operate from 10.00am until demand ends. No ticket is required to travel using this service shuttle only a gold coin donation with proceeds going to the Twizel Community Hub. Our volunteers will have buckets with them in Market Place and at the Festival Site at the conclusion of the day.
You will need to have your festival ticket purchased before you jump on the bus.
